I have a 3000 W generator that does not have an inverter in it. Is it possible (and difficult) to add one?

THANKS:confused:

Your genset should already produce 120 VAC pure sine wave power. The inverter type generators generate DC power at varying RPM's to conserve fuel and minimize noise. The DC power is then inverted to AC using a pure sine wave inverter (verses a cheaper, modified sine wave inverter). The output of a standard generator should power anything you have (within wattage limits).
