Heat from under Refridgerator

We own a 2009 Cyclone 4012. During the summer the heat that comes out from the vents under the fridge makes our A/C work overtime and in the winter the cold air makes our heater work overtime.

Does anybody else have these problems?

Are there any suggestions for fixing it?

Thanks, in advance, for any help you can give!

That 'vent' is where the heater (furnace) gets the return air. I don't know if you could block it in the summer but I would think it would help to ventilate the rv.

We currently have aluminum foil over the vent. It helps keep the hot air from heating up the kitchen, but it still radiates quite a bit of heat.

(gotta love South Texas in the summer!)

I wonder how I could make some louvers that would open and close as needed? Hmmmm

I have a piece of brown card board in front to my cold air return. Makes the cold days and nights a whole lot warmer.
Oh, and it's a patented piece of brown card board, so don't get any ideas.

Peace
