Couple of small improvements

It would have been nice to have a cable pass through from the shelf under the TV into the radio/DVD area in order to connect satellite receiver without wires/cables hanging over the edge of shelf.

Also more latches on pantry shelf and drawer under refrigerator to hold them closed when traveling. Heavy items particularly in pantry drawer cause it to open when traveling.

David good ideas. One thing you can do to the drawer under the fridge (and stove) is install a little heavier peice of plywood for the base. Reduces the trampoline effect of the bottom which holds the drawer more secure.

Based on the HL photo's of that area of your rigs, it should be a simple task to make a cable pass through. Since those are usually double-bottom shelves, first purchase two cable pass-through grommets. Then use a hole saw on a drill to cut the correct diameter holes to insert the grommets, one from above and the other from below. Use a wrap of tape around their flanges if the hole is slightly larger to insure a secure fit.

This link gives you a selection of grommets to choose from. There may even be a store near you.

We drilled some holes for wires and to reduce heat build up between the tv and the cabinet. Also put in a PC fan for air circulation and drilled holes in the shelf. We felt the heat build up was excessive and didn't want to keep the ent. center door open or change out the glass to a wire mesh.

It might be a little more helpful if you put the year and model of your unit in your post or in your profile.

We have a 2011 3250TS--sorry forgot to mention that. We have already made the mods I mentioned above, just wanted to let factory know about a couple of design ideas that would help. Made one trip so far and drawers are staying in place now. Thanks.
