Oven out - Ice maker in

DW did not use the oven for anything but storage. So we had the stove and oven removed, installed a cook top, and constructed a cabinet with a sliding shelf in place of the oven. The ice maker fits perfectly in the cabinet, pulls forward when in use, and stores neatly in the cabinet, and there is room to store a few items.

We didn't use the table and chairs so we removed it and put in a freezer and had a cabinet built around it and included a drawer for our ice maker also.

Never thought about taking out the oven. We use the oven so few times it is used to store pots and pans... Might look into that also.. Where did you get the Cooktop?

Bob, I got the cook top from my dealer. He had an unused cook top in storage. It was sent to him by error and distributor did not ask for it back. The price was very good. You can find cook tops in the Camping World catalog or on line. Good luck. Will you be in Nashville for the rally?
