3250TS ready for pickup

After waiting for several weeks, we finally received our call yesterday from our salesman Ron Cole, with RV Capital Wholesalers in Elkhart IN., that our BC 3250TS is complete and heading down the road to their lot. Very exciting time for the both of us. Now to schedule the trip for pick up.

We want to make this an adventure, so we are planning at least a two week trip/vacation to pick unit up. Our plan is to leave from here in SE Georgia, take about two days to get to Elkhart, IN, (approx. 990 miles) spend two days there, one day on the setup/PDI, and the next day taking a factory tour of Heartland. Leaving there and heading to East Tawas, MI., to visit friends where we go to ice fish. Never been there in the summer. Stay there 4-5 days then start our way back towards SE Georgia, which ever way the highway takes us.

With commitments already made it looks like it will be the first of August before we can pick up. This is sorta like when you were a child waiting for Christmas. Like it will never get here.

I would add a day to spend overnight in the unit at RV Capital on their lot to be able to try everything to be sure it is alright. If they don't have room then stay down the street at Elkhart Campground. Just a suggestion. BTW don't forget to try the heater (furnace) even though it is summer.

Congratulations!
And I also agree with jmgratz about adding a day for the pdi, if you do find any issues you will need the extra time to have them fixed anyway.
Have a safe trip and enjoy the new BC.
