Where to go between Nashville and Goshen

Trying to arrange a Levelup install and it is not working well.

If you had to spend a week traveling between the rally at Nashville and Goshen where would you go and what would you do?

Well, if you're a Bourbon drinker, the Bourbon trail south of Louisville is fun. Without going too far off I-65, you can hit a couple of them (Jim Beam, Heaven Hill and a couple more). When you're at Heaven Hill, buy a couple bottles f 18 year old Elijah Craig. Wow - very smooth. And a lot less $ there versus a liquor store - if you can even find the 18 year old stuff. The Louisville Slugger Bat plant is in/near Louisville. I stayed at the Shepherdsville, KY KOA.

In Indianapolis, if you love Prime Rib and kick-butt Shrimp Cocktails, try St. Elmo's downtown. AWESOME! I stayed at the KOA on the east side of town.

In Goshen, good/fun places to eat are:
- Luxe Cafe (near Walmart)
- South Side Soda Shop (on Main I think)

The SS Soda Shop has great sandwiches, pies and ice cream treats. They even have Philly Cheese Steak sammies. You be the judge :)

In Shipshewana, IN, there's always the Flea Market. And of course the Blue Gate Restaurant :)

In Elkhart on the SW corner, there's the Farmer's Market.

Of course, endless Amish stuff (cheese factory, noodle factory, quilt shop etc.).

I could make that trip last for weeks :)

Mammoth Cave and Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Riverboats for gambling in Louisville, and just upstream is Belterra @ Vevay, IN then Queen Victoria in Rising Sun, IN or Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, IN. You could always stop at Rabbit Hash Ky and visit the mayor (it's a dog), Large Outlet mall on SR 31 just off I-65 in Indiana, Falls of the Ohio State Park with it's fossil beds just inside IN from Louisville, if there's a race at that time the KY Speedway (just up I-71 between Louisville and Cincinnati) is fun. Plus all the ideas Jim gave................the bourbon trail is definitely a nice trip, and Maker's Mark is an interesting place as well as the town there. As for camping spots, there's plenty of places to hold over...............you can park in our drive for all I care, got 50amp and water just no sewer hook up.

Thanks for the ideas, but it is now a moot point.

Was trying ot get the Lippert Level up upgrade being offered. Back and forth phone calls with a day or two in between resulted in no available appointments anytime in July.

Turns out, that as good as this deal is, it is not restricted to the HOG Nashville rally.
I think only 2 Nashville rally goers are taking advantage of the promotion.

The rest are coming straight form other Heartland owners AND the promotion is offered to two other owner's groups!

Sure would have been nice it they restricted the installation dates around Nashville to people actually going to the rally.

Working the install into our travel plans meant just a detour going to Nashville.
Now it would take a minimum of 3 days and 1500 miles. Thats if I would feel like driving 750 mile days again.
