1939 Lindbergh Travel Trailer

Interesting trailer. With fore and aft axles, wonder how it towed in its day? I suppose a vehicle in 1939 to tow it was not very fast - but I am picturing this RV wiggling down the road like a hay wagon does.

That is interesting. It ought to be in the RV Museum in Elkhart.

I think so too. But they don't buy units. Units there are all donated and done so in the condition the donor wants them to be displayed. I never knew all that but learned it from their historian, Al Hesslebart. Also learned how the oldest known RV in existence found it's way to the RV museum vs. the Smithsonian. If one ever gets the chance while in Elkhart, the RV/MH Hall of Fame (that we all refer to as the RV Museum) is a great stop. And look up Al if he's there. He's a wealth of information.
