Mag Hytec differential cover - 3 thumbs up.

porthole

Retired
I added one of these covers last year, which is also drilled and tapped for a temp sensor.
My temps have usually been around 150 degrees on a hot day steady pulling.

Besides the advertised cooling advantage the real reason I like it is the increased fluid capacity. From about to pints to 7.5 pints of fluid.

Coming back from Nashville we headed north up into Ohio and east toward Hagerstown Maryland.

Did a lot of 6-13% grades, up and down - roller coaster style.

On one long hill (going up) I watched the differential temps steadily climb from 150 to 180.
Nothing to be alarmed about - but certainly something to watch.
By the time we hit the bottom of the hill the temp was back down to 150.
Good product.
