To All,

This morning, administrative caused a mapping error between the user and post tables. The error affected posts made from 25-May through this morning.

The good news:

  1. We have not lost any posts
  2. We have learned from today's events and will make changes going forward
The bad news:

  1. We experienced about 2 hours of forum down-time today
  2. The affected posts, while they are all intact, now show up as having been made by a user account we created for this purpose, called "Recovered 25-May". So they have taken on an bit of anonymity
  3. 345 posts have been orphaned :( This means we were not able to map them over to the thread they were created in. We will be able to move them if you recognize one as yours and follow the request process outlined here
Forum Administration regrets and apologizes for the error and the inconvenience.

Through some code magic, we have been able to relocate all but 58 posts to their original thread.

Several posts are still owned by the 'Recovered' user. If you spot one that you know was yours, or you know who's it was, please feel free to PM myself or Jim Beletti with a link to the post, and the username that should be assigned to it. You can get the post link by right clicking on the post # at the top right of the post itself, and copying the shortcut/link location ( verbiage varies by browser ) and pasting it into the PM.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks,
