Move Water pump under sink

If the water pump was moved under the sink, the water lines all routed inside, it would make for bigger storage compartment and keep the water lines out of the weather.

Does placement of the pump also dictate where the water heater has to go? In our TT, both of them were under the sink and you knew when a faucet was opened running off tank water. In our BH, the pump is pretty close to the water heater, behind the basement wall.

The placement of the pump will not have any effect on any thing that it supplies water to. If you get too long of a run or have a line that is too small, you may get some pressure lost. The location is usually centered in the water system, and usually closest to the shower.
