Well friends the title says it all. We hope to spend about a week there in a couple of weeks. Never been in the state. Any suggestions thankfully appreciated.

We are going also and have been there many times. We like the Sea-Vu Campground in Wells on route 1 but there are a number of good ones in that area. Don't miss the walk along the Marginal Way in Oqunquit while there.
If your there when we are we can help with things to see. Hoping to be there last week of Sept.

We stayed at 3 very nice parks in Maine in june of this year. In the Bar harbour area stayed at Timberland acres in Trenton which is about 15 minutes drive from Bar Harbour and Acadia national park (well worth seeing ).Down the coast a bit is Camden Maine a very picturesque tourist seaside town with beautiful restored estate homes. Stayed at Camden state park campsite just north of Camden.
Also stayed in Bangor Maine at the Pumpkin Patch campground an adult oriented park which accepted Passport America which made it very affordable beautiful park with full hook ups and cable. Hope this helps you out we would return to all of these parks again gladly

We are going to be in Maine sometime after Labor Day. We are headed that way now. We want to watch the color change in the fall and will start south into Kentucky and Tennessee. We have been in Maine before and a place we like is called Pumpkin Patch outside of Hermon Maine. They have a screaming WiFi for a $1 per day and it is a nice park. Not sure when we will be there. We plan to stay at least a week and go into Bar Harbor for some lobster.
