I have the equaflex on my 2008 Bighorn 3670RL. I was looking at it the other day and it has what looks like bumpers for the rubber pads welded on between the plates that the bolts go through. This is hard to explain, but those of you that have equaflex will probably know what I mean.
My problem is these welds holding these plates have broken, two out of four welds. They seem to be welded only on one side not both. I can't decide if this is a critical, replace them now sort of thing or not so critical.
I remember at least one posting some time back about broken welds on equaflex that was still under warranty. Mine is not, but wonder what some of you think and if anyone has had theirs off and been able to look at them more closely. I can't really tell if it is structural or not. It seems to me that the bolts actually hold the plates together that have the rubber in between them.
