self priming water pump

How long does it take to self prime? we drained the lines in the winter and the pump has not worked since. It sounds like it is pumping but no water. So today I looked in the manual and it says to fill fresh water and open sink lines then turn on pump. We had it running up to maybe 10 minutes. We got a little water then it stopped. Not sure where the actual pump is in the 10 bighorn 3400rl.

look behind the access panel in basement it should be on the back side of the udc try only opening the kit. sink on cold when water reaches that go to bath area opening one faucet at a time

make sure that the winterizing valve has been returned to the "from tank" position. it should take only a few seconds before water is flowing out the faucets.

Remember you have to pump 10gal into the HWT
