Finishing touches in 3600RE

Our Bighorn is a 2010. I would liked to see more care taken in the finishing touches inside these trailers. For example the finish on the tops of the cupboard doors could have used another coat of polyurethane. The day/night shades were carelessly installed with the pleats not being parallel. Our central vac began to operate poorly and upon investigation it was discovered that the backing plate for the dustpan/hose plugin was not fastened to anything and it had worked loose. Also the upholstery on the rocker/recliner is very loose, not tightly stretched over the arms. We love the layout of the trailer but these little things detract from the excellent trailer it could be.

dspagrud, I think these are minor flaws that you will find in most, if not, all trailers/RV's on the market. That is until you get into the really high dollar RV's. Even then there will probably be things found that are detracting.
As for the shades, they are adjustable by changing the tension on the cords. This is done by adjusting the cord tabs at the lower corners of the window. When the tension is even on both sides they operate evenly but DO NOT put too much tension on the cords. They will fray and break. Only put enough tension to hold the upper section in position when the lower section is being moved. When you open and close the shades, they are to be moved one section at a time. Don't try moving both sections at the same time.

By the way do you have a Bighorn or an Elk Ridge? Your profile indicates Elk Ridge while your post says Bighorn. Just curious.
