I used the tennis balls on a stick when I had a bumper pull. Measure the height to the top of the hitch ball and set the trailer just a little higher. Set one magnet right on the hitchball and the other on the hitch on the trailer. As you back up the trailer will knock the magnet off the top of the hitch ball. Really worked good and I got it many times on the first try. Don

I had (still have it) the EZ Hitch plate for the pop-up and boat. Really nice. It would not fit the WDH for the TT, so I relied on dead reconning and my own visual alignment points when I was alone, or I guided the wife in the last foot or so. Never missed, either way.
