another bearing/seal question

Well I'm about to take my rig in for its 1st annual brake inspection/ bearing repack/seal replacement before I head south for the winter. I think I read some time ago that people are buying some other seal instead of the Heartland/Lippert seals because they are made in China?? I'm going by memory hear but if I recall someone hear on this forum said they got there seals at Napa because it was a better seal and not China made. Anyone remember what seal and part# to get for a 7K axle for my 3580.

Thanks,
Bobby A

On my 3500RL Big Country with 7000Lbs axles the Oil Seal are 2.25" ID 3.376 OD

Double lip seals would be best

I have the #'s but won't be able to get to them for a couple of days. Take the old seal to a good parts store like NAPA or try Bearings Inc.they stock C/R. Get a seal with a double lip and a felt wiper.

Not being a shade tree mechanic, nor having the place or desire to DIY, I take my rig to the dealer for bearing repack. For me, it's part of the cost of ownership.
