Fuel Gauge

Have a 2010 Cyclone 3914 and am gradually learning all the ins and outs. Put fuel in the gas tank, started generator and all is well. Pumped gas out of the tank using onboard fuel pump. Only problem so far is gas gauge doesn't move from below E. I put in 5 galons and there was some in already. Any ideas?

Am enjoying this forum, lots of good knowledge out there amongst us.

Hi Mathguy,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and Family. We have a great bunch of people here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge if needed.

I'm sure you will be getting some help from other owners soon.

Meanwhile enjoy the forum and think about making one of the Heartland Owners rallies in your area and also the Heartland Owners Club.... Check out the Portal Page for more information and a link.

I think you will need to add a little more fuel to get the gauge to move. If you unit is not level it will give a false reading. Mine will show empty even when the tank is full if it is sitting nose high.
