Lost over the air reception

I was watching local channels from the antenna and suddenly lost all the channels.
Checked the connections and they are OK. Does any one know how the booster
works? (the light stays on) Wondering if something went wrong with the amplifier or something shorted out. Any input would be appreciated.

Try rotating the antenna as the digital signal is very directional and is easy to loose. The amp should be working if the light is on. At least it is getting power.

Is there any chance the remote control for the TV got bumped or was sat on and maybe the input got switched on the TV? If all internal connections are OK maybe a connector on the backside of the booster/amp came loose. Or a connector behind the wall of the entertainment center. I wouldn't think something like that would have happened without any movement going on though. As Jim said, the new digital signals are very touchy and precise antenna aiming is key. Here is a LINK to a site that will help you aim your antenna, once there, click "choose an antenna"
