New to the forum. NT 5er owner

One month ago we picked up our 2011 North Trail 29RL 5er. Love the floor plan. Wife has to get used to the lack of inside storage compared to our old TT. This one tows much easier even though it is 2K lbs heavier than the old one.
Our first time out was ok...not great. When we got to the camp site the motor for the front landing gear would not work. Anyone ever used the hand crank? Very fine threaded, took about 15 minutes of cranking to get it disconnected and about the same to hook it up when we left.
The stereo/dvd player that was replaced under warranty needs to be replaced again. Works with the remote but the touch screen doesn't work at all. Same reason it was replaced before.
We really love the huge windows in this one. I think we will enjoy it very much once the bugs are worked out. Right now it is in shop for the landing gear motor....they aren't sure it will be back for Thanksgiving.

Not sure where you are in Texas but there are many members in the Texas and even more in the winter time.

Welcome, another Texan!!

Where in Texas? I understand having issues with something that is brand new. But please be patient, it will get better! Sometimes the products within our trailers have issues that Heartland could not have foreseen. They will make it right, if they can!
