Hi everyone,
We will be storing our BH3670 for about 4weeks and wondering about a few things. From this forum advice, we decided to bring in the slides. What about the refer?? should we leave it on propane?? or plan to completely empty the refer?? We will not have electric.
Any other comments/suggestions about the 4 week storage would be appreciated
thanks,

It was our experiance that the batteries (2 12volts) were not able to power the control circuits for more than a week, we left ours in march in Colorado so the temps were low and most of the food was fine, but for an entire month I would plan on emptying it.

Empty the fridge and disconnect the battery when you're ready to leave it. If you leave it connected, the LP Detector will draw down the battery. The is no switch to turn off the detector.

We have a solar panel which puts enough juice in the battery to overcome all the parasitic draws as well as the refrigerator draw when on propane. We can store indefinitely as long as the propane holds out. Without the panel we would be dead in a few weeks (single 12v battery).

Put newspapers in the fridge, turn it off and you will be fine. The papers (some folks use charcoal or soda) will adsorb odors and the fridge will be just fine.

Thanks everyone--will take your advice as this is the first time we will leave the rv for more than a few days. Appreciate all your immediate responses.
