:DSpotted this early 5th wheel at recent visit to the Glen Curtis museum. Dates back to 1917.Curtis museum is in Hammondsport NY, on NY rt 54 Not far from Corning Ny and Corning Glass co.. Curtis was most noted for his motorcycles and being an aviation pioneer. There would be limited parking for RV's in the museum parking lot. Hammondsport in in the heart of NY's wine country. There are several campgrounds in the area ( I have not camped in any of them) to make a base camp to visit local attractions such as Corning Glass museum ,Curtis museum, and the wine country as well as dinner cruises on Seneca lake from Watkins Glen. A hike up the 'Glen' is good too..

Real nice area, to visit. Had the bighorn at the Glen last year. The state camp ground (Watkins Glen) at the top of the hill is real nice. Steep hill, but the sites are nice and great for access to the glen. Also the Curtis Museum is great place to spend a day. The place it is now is a lot larger then the old school house the museum was in years back. Corning is also in the area. However what I enjoy is Harris Hill, the glider capital, super place. In the fall, the wineries are is production and it is a real busy place.
