A buffer/polisher for my FW and truck

I would like to get a buffer/polisher for my trailer and truck and would like suggestions. I have a good grinder which can be fitted with a polishing bonnet but would probably do more harm than good.

Bought a Porter Cable Model 7424 last spring works great on both vehicles. This model is the orbital type reduces the chance of burns and swirl marks.

You want an orbital. I use one small one to put the polish on and another larger (10") to buff it out. YOu dont want to use a grinder with bonnet as it is to fast.

I also just bought the 7424 along with compounds, waxes and buffing wheels recommended to me by a auto detail supply outlet and they worked great. My 10 year old black truck was looking pretty poor but after buffing per their instruction it looks fantastic now. They also have an RV, Boat specific wax that I'm looking forward to trying. PM me if you would like the contact information.
