while cleaning the slide tops of debri before closing slides ,i noticed the top exterior seal was bowed out and loose in several areas.you could see the screws under them, and i was wondering if this will pop back in ,or is it ruined?is there a lip that this grips from both sides,i tried to reseal it but it was raining and i was on roof, looking at it upside down. thanks buckeyebob

Re: slidout seals

I think what your talking about is the outside rubber seals. If its like mine they changed one at Goshen at the rally and it just slid into the metal track so I'm thinking you would need to slide it out one end and reinstall it.

Re: slidout seals

buckeyebob, I have not had this problem but if you do not use seal lube you may want to give it a try. Sometimes the rubber can get tacky with the heat of summer. If it does the rubber can stick to the metal and pull it out of the track that it is in when you open the slide. Just a thought!!!! Good luck.
