The Kitchen Sink

The sink on our 2006 Big Horn is showing small spots that look like rust. The general condition of the sink leaves something to be desired as far as I am concerned. I realize that these are cheap sinks and wonder if we should explore replacing it or can it be resurfaced?

Has anyone run into this and what did you do?

I have a 2007 BH with the white poly/resin plastic sink. I had alot of rust stains also. I used comet and a sponge for about 20 mins. Looks brand new!

Have fun and change directions with the sponge.

You might also try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. They seem to work pretty good on these types of stains.

I filled the sink with water to which I added about a cup of bleach. Looked great after. So I do this every so often to keep it white and sparkling.

Go to your local grocery store and buy some "Cameo Stainless Steel Cleaner." Apply it with a moist sponge and it will make it look like new. Also, when you store your RV you if you spray a little "Corrosion Block" (Should be able to find at a hardware store) it will assure your sink keeps that new finish.
