Beaver tail piece

Not had much luck getting replies from Razor community, so I will post question here. I have a 2008 Razor 3110 fifth-wheel. The metal piece that attaches to the floor at the beaver tail was loose when I got the trailer a month ago. Turns out the reason it is not secure to the floor is that the plywood was cut crooked and is off by about a 1/2inch. The screws that go into the floor at one point were hitting nothing. How to fix problem? Buy a larger angled piece to go on the floor. Mine is only 1-1/4 by 1-1/4. I need something larger to work. What does the Cyclone use on the floor and what size is it. Maybe I can buy this piece and put in my trailer. Your input is appreciated. Capt.

Hi Capt. - Please call Heartland at 574-262-5992 and ask for Mike Aplin. Though Mike is in Sales, he takes a keen hands-on interest in our Toy Haulers. Ask him your specific construction questions and perhaps he can go on the line to get the answers you see in order to make your own repair.
