Had the same problem in NJ last year! Couldn't tell where the A/C cover was. Took several hours to get it off before leaving for Fl.

Wow. That's crazy!

I hope you were really careful with the shovel not to let the metal edge come in contact with the roof material...

That's bad! We had 14" of snow here in VA Beach the day after Christmas - a 21 year record! The temps then went up about 10-15 degrees, melting away all of the snow over the next two days. The real danger were the 14" dagger icicles that were hanging while the snow melted. One observation - I would recommend closing the slide-outs when not regularly occupying the camper, especially if snow is called for. Those slide-out awnings definitely took a strain!
