Questions about "seam trim pieces"

On my 3055 BH I have a piece of trim that is pulling away from the body of the trailer. These trim pieces are about 3/4" wide with a piece of vinyl(?) inserted - probably to cover the screws that attach the piece to the wall of the trailer.

My question is how do you remove the vinyl without destroying it and what tips are there for reattachment?

patrick, that vinyl piece can be removed by flexing it or squeezing it with some pliars. It fits in tracks in the top and bottom of the aluminum trim. It is normally held in place by a screw at each end. You can start to remove it about a foot from the end and pull enough out to get to the screws. If it's "cool" outside you might warm up the vinyl with a hair dryer. Don't over do it though. If it breaks, it's available at most dealers and easy enough to replace.
