The fluid for the slides is 1/2 full in the white container is that normal amount, also what kind of fluid does it take.
Thanks

The bigger question is what was the level when you first got it with the slides all retracted? Mine was at ~3/4 full and dropped roughly 1" when the four slides were extended. I marked both levels with a Sharpie. Now that I have a leaking selector valve and a puddle of ATF in the tray under the pump, the retracted level is between the two marks.

The fluid level will change with the slides in or out.
The level in both of my Bighorns was half full, center on the seam, with the slides out.

The Lippert site indicates the proper fluid level is about 1 inch from the top with everything hydraulic retracted (slides and jacks). My book recomends Mercron V ATF.

When I walked our new unit down and went over everything from the dealer while at the dealer I marked the fliud level with a sharpie and all was retracted then when extended alsoI have a referance line to go by also.
