Eureka Red Jacket Vacuum Failure

Our central vacuum recently failed due to a relay that causes it not to shut off.
The entire vacuum will be replaced under warranty.Thats good.
Another good thing I discovered when trying to find why the vac would
not shut off was that the reciever box at the base of the steps was not
attached to the pipe behind the steps.I extended the pipe on the receiver
box and now the suction is at least triple to what it has been the last two years.
You may want to check your connection.
Its actually a Yellow Jacket

We have a different problem with ours. It is a yellow and black unit.
It will not stay on more than a few minutes and then it shuts off. We are taking it to the dealer in a few weeks for a couple of minor items, including that one.

I thought the red vacs were Dirt Devils and the yellow ones were Eureka. I learned something
