Waste Water Drain/Plumbing Location

Wondering if there is an engineering reason for the location of the sewer drain on the 32RL. They seem to be very low - in fact too low to effectively drain into any type of portable tank (blue boy/tote/etc.). Could the plumbing be raised to a point closer to the under belly cover?

Thanks

Moving it up depends on wether you would still have enough angle in the the pipes to drain the tanks.

Looking at just raising the entire drain system by shortening the distance from the underbelly covering, Angles and pitch would remain the same just the vertical drop would be less.

JJ, if you have a friend that knows plumbing...ask their advise on this. If what you say is true..then you could change the height. The angle of drop is critical, if it's too much then the solids wont wash out. There is a formula for the "angle of the dangle"...if you know what I mean. Good luck.

If it's just a matter of getting a porta-tank in position and you're not parked on concrete or asphalt, scoop out a shallow trench to slide the tote into. I had to do that with our former TT because it rode low and the drain was almost horizontal.
