brand new fuel system won't work

Hey all, I just got a new 3850 and I was checking everything out today, and I can't get the fuel pump to pump fuel to the nozzle. The generator works and I filled up the tank to over half full. I turned the switch on inside, and then the pump outside. I can hear the pump running but it doesn't pump any fuel.

Well I got it two work last night, just in case else has an issue. I turned the pump on and just sucked on the end of the nozzle for just two seconds and she started working. All is good.

Mine would not pump very fast and had a lot of air bubble's in the fuel. I read on here to take the check valve out that is on top of the tank. I did and it pumps a lot better now. The valve is for a roll over.

Ultra, if it roll's over the check valve will be the least of your problems. Will look like an airplane crash.
