Trailair BD3 Hitch

Hi Dan & Ruth Ann,

I wanted to also ask about your Trailair BD3 hitch. We need to upgrade from our Reese 15K for the new RV and were thinking of getting the Trailair pin box and staying with a standard hitch, only heavier. What can you tell us about the BD3? Do you know if it would fit in our current rails?

Thanks again.

Re: stackable washer/dryer - undecided

We're very happy with the BD3.

I originally had ordered the Trailair Pinbox option and was shopping standard hitches like Curt and Reese, but the TrailerSaver BD3 caught my attention. So I ended up cancelling the Pinbox option. I ordered the BD3 direct from Hensley and the local hitch dealer provided a standard rail kit and did the installation. So it should fit your rails.

We have friends who talk about how worn out they are after towing for 8 hours because of all the vibration that's transmitted to the truck. In contrast, cruising down a good road at 55, sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm towing.
