Northtrail 24RBS

All who wander are not lost.
We have only had our trailer not even a week and noticed water on the left side floor by the bed, we checked the front storage area and there was a lot of water in it and it appears to be running back into the bedroom. So we lowered the front of the trailer a bit to keep it from running back into the trailer.

At first we thought it might be the water heater leaking into the trailer, but we are pretty sure it is coming in from the front storage compartment, only when it rains.
We will be talking to the dealer tomorrow, wondered if anybody else has had this problem.
We noticed that the gutter seems to pour right down in that general area, perhaps a bad seal on the cover into the storage area? even though it looks ok.

We wiped it all up and will keep an eye on it, it's not raining today, so that will be a big clue.

EDIT
We think we found the leak already, the seal around that side of the compartment door is not on correctly. That makes us feel better. We need to get it fixed right away, but we are only 6 miles from where we bought it.

We took it to the dealer this afternoon and they have it under cover, which is a relief, until they can fix it , which should be a few days.

Wow that was a quick fix. Would be wonderful living that close to the dealer. Good luck with the North trail, and happy camping. We love our north trail.

We are really lucky, this RV dealer just moved to our area and we are probably their first customers, so they have been good so far. We stopped and talked to the manager and he said to bring it right in, being 6 miles away is so nice. I just hope it hasn't been leaking for a while, but it doesn't look like it. We are pretty sure we love our Northtrail too. Jeez what a mess it was in, we have been transferring our stuff from our old motorhome into the new trailer! Yikes! I had to really stick stuff away will-nilly so we could hit the road.
