Hey Phil,

Kem & I will keep an eye on our schedules and hopefully make it to this rally.

And..........

My "backin up" skills will be greatly improved and I expect no less than a 7 by the HOC scoring judges!!:D

Now Lance, you do remember the first rule of going to a rally, right? And by the way.If you remember correctly I gave you a 110 score on your backing. Can't get any better than that!

Phil,

If our home is not done yet, we may just tool on down to SC and join this rally. We'll know more in late summer.

Yep, I am a quick learner.......don't be the LAST TO ARRIVE!!!! Believe me I will NOT let that happen again!!! But it was fun!

I am thinking it was either a fly on your paper or a decimal for a score of 1.10........

We may be able to get to this rally as we are usually off the first week in November. Yahoo, baby!

The Mathis' most likely will be there. We stopped by the Oaks last summer and was very surprised at the massive improvements they have done since our stay in 2005. Charleston in the fall is a pretty place and so much to do. Great place for a rally.

As I told you in Cherokee, thehillsonwheels will be headed south toward FL about that time of year. :D So, how cool is it that we can hit a rally on our way! Does that make us definite, tentative, almost, could be, maybe attendees?????

I'm glad to see a strong interest inthe Charleston area. Lance, we really need you and Kem. It takes a lot of the heat off of me! Jim, Terry and Dave, I hope everyone can work out their schedules and of course Deb, We would be honored to have our friends from the new North East territory! :) Charleston is a popular vacation spot so if anyone has been there and had a particular place they enjoyed or activity etc. I would be interested to hear. I know from my past travels to Charleston, the carrage rides are awsome, Patriots Point is really cool and rainbow row and the battery are also excellent. Really so many possibilities for a weekend!

Dick, What would a rally be without hillsonwheels! Come on down!!!

Nathan and Byrd, I didn't mean to leave you out! I really hope you can make it. It was great seeing you at the East Coast Rally. We are trying to work on our schedules for the "Quite side of the Mountains Rally" as well. I think Becky is out of town though. I'll let you know as it gets closer. This stuff they call work keeps getting in the way of my play...

If our NJ cousins (John/Deb) can make it, I suppose we can too. Would love a trip to the Charleston area. Won't be able to formally commit for about a month yet, but we're 90% there! (Besides, someone has to make sure Dick gets out of Virginia-we'll probably escort him!) By the way - it will be my birthday, we'll have to have cake and ice cream!

Phil Smith

Great Gus! But as far as Dick, I'll bet there will be no shortage of people willing to make sure he gets out of
Virginia. Wouldn't surprise me to see the escort being led by a vehicle with blue lights flashing! As for the birthday, I'm always onboard where cake is concerned! :)

What a great place for a rally! I love Charleston and look for any excuse to be there! Can't wait! November's a wonderful time of year too.

Phil Smith

Retired South Carolina Chapter Leader
Julie, Charleston should be great in November. Past hurricane season, the humidity and temperatures should be down AND past gnat season. We're all set! Looking forward to seeing everyone...
