ATF: Big Country - soft spot in kitchen floor

We have had our 3450 for about a two months now and have a soft spot in the floor at the end of the kitchen cabinet. Its seems to be about 1 foot long and 4 inches wide. i seem to step on it every time I walk into the kitchen. Im worried over time the flooring will crack from flexing. We try and step over it but being in the middle of the floor we seem to hit it every time. I will be taking to the dealer for a new counter top in a few weeks with some other things thats need to be fixed under warranty.

I guess my question is is the some way to fix this? The flooring appears to be from one end to the other and would hate for them to cut it to repair. Being right in the middle it hard to not step on it. When you step on that spot it sound like the wood is cracking.

I would think being a brand new unit, you shouldnt have to worry where you step. Maybe keep stepping on it while still under warrenty.
