Top of the Hill RV Resort

The Top of the Hill RV Resort near Waring Texas between Boerne and Comfort burned to the ground yesterday due to a fast-moving grass fire. Damage assessments indicated that six or seven RVs were destroyed, as well as three cars and a motorcycle, plus the RV park’s clubhouse, laundry room and pavilion.

Wow - that's terrible Jay. I think I just heard Stella telling someone about this park tonight at dinner.

Sad news for sure. Not having read the article, I'm guessing everyone was able to evacuate safely at least.

We know some folks that were staying at this park while she had some surgery in San Antonio. Better do some checking to see if they came out okay. Thanks for posting this Jay.

Sorry to hear of this....Hope everyone that was there was able to get away un-harmed.

We checked this park out just a few months ago when in Fredericksburg......We had planned on staying there on a trip this fall!
