I think we here in NE Missouri are having temps above some of you in Texas. I am ready to head south as soon as it cools off a bit.

Thanks Jim I needed that, Just hope that it rains there. Lake Travis is down so much I don't know if it will recover. Tell it to cool off as we leave for Texas in Oct. 97 here in Chattanooga today heat index of 110.

We came to Michigan this summer to escape the Texas heat and guess what? They're having a heat wave and temps have been at or around 100 for the past couple of days and are predicted to stay there through the weekend.

Indiana reached the century mark today, with a heat index of 115 to 120. Staying in the mid to upper 90's through next Monday. Might drop to the upper 80's for a couple of days, then back to the lower nineties. Hasn't rained for a couple of weeks. Even camping isn't fun in this heat. Waiting for a cooldown.
