Dish compatability

A friend gave us a direct tv dish and stand. We have dish network. Would the dish work for dish network, if not, can I just replace the lnb?

Thanks

With a single lnb it works for us in the other direction. We have directv box and use a dish 300 sat dish. I would think it would be fine.

It will work. LNA's 1 and two are the same spacing wise. You will need another feed horn specifically dish to get all xponders. LNA #3 use a different focal point on the dish and that focal point requires about a 2 inch spacing.

Both units an be used to everything other than HD. 2 lnb configuration:

In the two lnb configuration you can use a dish network or a direct network from either of the satellite companies.

Just remember no 3d LNB...NO HD!
