Hello! A really nice touch would be for the board underneath the mattress to be finished, and the edges as well. I was very surprised when I first put the sheets on the bed to find that the board was left unfinished, as it catches on the sheets and certainly on the fingers! Painful! Some members on these forums have found a solution by applying tiles or some such material, and putting trim on the edges, themselves. Which I will eventually end up doing, I'm sure. Just would be nice if it was done at the factory for new buyers. It's not something someone would think of checking before buying, although I guess it would be apparent upon opening the bed storage area. Just a thought - thanks!
