Electrical Schematic

I am getting ready to add a 2nd a/c (13.5) in the bedroom. I was told by the dealer that the 20amp leg of the 50 amp service is just for that second a/c. I just want to confirm that this is true so I dont have to worry about any power issues. Everything else runs off of 30amp leg, such as fridge, water heater, etc. Just making sure I can still run everything in the trailer on electric without worry.

Turn off the electric prior to installing the second unit. You whould have no problem. The factory did wire the bedroom for the second a/c and you will have plenty power if you have 50amp service. The second a/c in bedroom is great to have on the hot summer days. Enjoy many days of camping with the family and friends.

The Bighorn has a split buss 50 amp service - each leg is balanced for load. Both A/C circuits are not on the same leg. Hope this helps!

If you have two breakers for the A/C you are wired to the bedroom roof vent.

I agree with Chopper, Check breaker box. It is an easy install
