Anybody know how to get the black streak off the edge of the rubber roofing that runs directly above the gutter on the sides? About where it tucks in and above? Thanks Tom M.
Elbow grease and a stiff bristle scrub brush. I spray it with black strek remover let it set and then scrub it. Repeat if necessary and try other products for best results. Usually I wash my roof 3-4 times a season to reduce the black streaks.
Thank you for the replies. I was afraid to try anything except the dawn dish soap and water with a little bleach on the rubber roofing. I will try some black streak remover and it should be ok as long as I wash it off right away. Tom M.
Just don't use any cleaner that is petroleum based on the rubber roof as it will damage the roof. Be careful about using too still a scrub brush or you can 'brush' a hole in it.
