New Texas Campground

Just wanted to let everyone know of a brand new campground in Livingston, Texas. It is called Bustertown RV Park and Campground. It has 101 campsites with 95 being long pullthroughs. They have 30-50 amps full hookups, a small store, free cable tv, free wifi and reasonable rates. ($35.00 a night or $450 a month which includes all utilities). It is gravel and they are still in the process of finishing it up and will eventually have everything. There is a Steakhouse Restaurant-dancehall named Buster McNutty's Restaurant at the entrance of the RV Park. Same owners of both. They are wonderful people. They need to get the word out about their park. It is on Hwy 190 just west of Livingston Tx. Remember Livingston is the headquarters of Escapees so if you are going that way headed to the valley this park would be a great place to spend a few days. They are also in the process of completing their website. We will be staying there working on their sitemap for 2 weeks in October (beginning the 10th). Drop by and say hello to David and Melinda Burns who are the owners of this park. I was impressed by the overall look of this park as they really are trying hard to make it a classy park.

Returned from a casino trip to Bossier City yesterday and stopped by Onalaska for a short visit before continuning home. Passed by Buster McNutty's Restaurant and noticed the "RV" sign, as well as the round--bale locomotive.:) My compliments to the "artist" although cannot figure out where they got the red hay.

Have eaten at the restaurent several times while staying at the lake and always had good food and service. They have a nice country-western decor that is roomy and comfortable. Should be a good combination for RV'ers. And not to detract from McNutty's but the mexican food restaurant just down the road is also very good.
