Hey everyone, my name is Bill and my wife is Nadine and we just took the plunge and joined the RV world. We’ve been looking at the Heartland Big Country 3250TS Gold Edition as our first 5th wheel RV. Actually it's our 1st RV ever. From reviewing all the comments in the forums we believe this will be a good beginning to a new past time. My wife & I pick the RV up this Friday in Bath, NY and we can't wait.
Picked up a 2011 Ford F350 diesel long bed and a B&W Companion hitch to tow with. Again after reviewing the comments in the forums seems like one of the favorites for towing. Being a Ford fan also helped with the decision.
I’ve been involved with scouting a large part of my life so camping, backpacking, and hiking are in my blood. This is the first time for Rving though. We're not retired yet so long weekends and the occasional week long vacations are what we’re looking to do. Not exactly sure where to go with the RV. We’re from northeast PA, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
