I have 4 - 6 volt golf cart batteries. Only way to go for multiple battery setups. They will outlast 6 - 12 volts and can take a deeper discharge than 12 volt batteries
hope this helps

6 volt golf cart batteries are really the only way to go. Check the marine stores for batteries boxes. They make them to house pairs.

I use 2-6 volt Trojan T105's. Work real good. We went out last week and used them with a 200 watt Xantrex inverter and they performed better than I thought they would.

I got a double battery box on line and revented out the exsisting vent.

TT, here ia picture of my set up, 4 t-105's as the main bank, and the stk 160ah 12v as reserve. The switch in the picture has been changed out to a bank selector switch. This set up gives us all the power we currently need..........We also have a xantrex 2000w inverter / charger......
