Exterior protection

We just purchased a greystone 33ck...is an aftermarket exterior protection is necessary to protect the finish?

Welcome to the forum Boilerturf. You will find a lot of good information here. This is a great forum with great members.
Personally I think that a dealer applied exterior protection is a waste of good money. JMHO.
If you give your rig a wax job a couple times a year it will stay looking good for a long time.
You should get more opinions on the subject.
Enjoy the forum.

Peace

Welcome, Boilerturf. You'll find a lot of great people with awesome information on this forum.
MHO also says not to waste your money with the dealer. Look into products such as 303, Rejex, The Solution or others. Minimal but regular applications will be all you should need.
Good luck with your Greystone. It's a very nice pick!
Hope to see you on the road or at the rally in June.

Those paint sealants are a huge profit item for the dealers and don't do anymore than you can do yourself. Put on a coat of Rejex or Nu-Finish. They are polymers and leave a nice shine and are easy to apply. There are many other products on the market that will work too. JMHO..Don

DITTO, and the same goes for an interior treatment. You can buy Scots-Guard at Wal-Mart in a spray can.
