Tool Box

Hello:
I posted this request about 3 weeks or so ago w/o a response.
I would like to put a tool box on the awning side of my 2006 BigHorn (34RL) like the one on the bedroom slide side.

What parts do I need so I can ask my dealer to order them?
Can I order them directly from HeartLand?

Please consider contacting Heartland Customer Service at 574-262-8030 and ask for parts. If it can be done, ask for the part ordering information, then call your dealer with that information to have them place your order.

If you are talking about the aluminum diamond plate tool box you can get that material Lowes, HD and ACE Hardware. Looks pretty easy to build the front and have the lid bent at a sheet metal fabricator. A couple of hinges and you have yourself a tool box. I like the tool box but also like the other side for putting often used items.

I'm with Chopper, a lot quicker, to get it done locally. On our rig the door side is going to take a larger piece than the off door area.
