Water build up inside on very cold nights

When we are camping and it gets cold outside and we run the heater Ihave noticed that water condinsation builds up behind the matress and the exterior wall surface. Does this happen to anyone else? I have left HEARTLAND several e-mails and have gotten no reply.

When winter camping in Breckenridge, CO, on cold nights our Rushmore gets condensation on the wall at the head of the bed. We keep the mattress about an inch away from the wall to keep the moisture off the matress and allow the moisture to evaporate during the day.

This is an extremely common issue. In fact many of the owners manuals make reference to it. Most RV's are tight enough that they do not properly exhaust water from the breathing of the folks inside.

Simply crack a window or two and you will find the issue will disappear!

If it is a really big problem - you could add a dehumidifier to your bed room - there are some small units that would help with the extra moisture and limit if not solve the condensation problem.

Eva is one that is sold by several RV stores - This is one such store => http://www.rvupgradestore.com/Eva-D...tm?cvsfa=3124&cvsfe=2&cvsfhu=4544562d31313030

But you can also google "dehumidifiers" or "RV dehumidifiers" Keep in mind that you would most likely want an electric one - not a chemical one.
