Hi. I had to change out some connections inside the frame on the Bighorn before to get decent reception. I am thinking that if I could find a way to run all of the coax inside that it would stay weatherproof and maybe the connections would be more reliable. I like the idea of the jack antenna because the coax connects inside of the head of the antenna and would be out of the weather. I would like to keep the mast that cranks up and folds down. Has anybody changed out the head part from the Antenna Tek to the Jack before? Do you bypass the old booster and use the new one that comes with the Jack or do you use both? Do you think what I want is practical? Tom
