We just took delivery of our Cyclone 3010 and there is no rotational adjustment of the antenna. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance

Not sure what brand antenna you have, but I would think rotational adjustment would be a must have. Ours has a plate below the extender crank that you pull down and then rotate either direction and then release (spring loaded). It should have teeth all the way around on both surfaces that lock in place, and a pointer that must be lined up when retracting. The antenna must be fully extended before attempting to turn it. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Check your exterior antenna type. There are some that are omnidirectional, meaning they do not need to be "positioned" to get good reception.

My old Edge had one of those circular array omnidirectional antenna. It looks like a flat round dish on a stand. No controls, but I think it had better reception than the crank up one I have on the North Trail. This based on the reception I got at my house with both of them.
