Cats and their Equipment

Those of you who have cats, where do you have the litterbox? Do you take over a cabinet or have an exhaust fan to the outside for it? Trying to figure out where to put it in Mt Rushmore. Should be picking up in the next 2 weeks.

We have an enclosed litterbox (with swinging plastic door) against the wall between the dinette and the living room chairs. We empty every day but still get some smell when she exits the box. Not sure how much further you could go to reduce smell. Although I did see where some cats can actually be toilet trained. Not a bad idea as long as the lid doesn't fall down.

Our two cats use a litterbox that is covered and we use the Arm & Hammer Multi-Cat litter. The litterbox is kept under our desk area in the BH 3400RL. We use a Litter Locker to dump the waste each day and we have not had any odor problems from our two.

Our cats require a running water fountain so we use a Petmate (usually advertised for dogs) Fountain and Petmate Feeder Bowl. They are kept on one side of our dining table and we have removed two of our dining chairs to accommodate the "masters of the house".

Have fun!

In our 3600 we emptied the vanity and turned it into a Mr. Whiskers powder room. We use scooping litter and have never had a problem with smell. just leave one door open and away he goes.
